S2P Senior Specialist with German

Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

Your key responsibilities

• Approve the majority of purchase orders within 24 hours.
• Daily manage, analyze and resolve any issues with purchase orders using the VIM tool.
• Identify and document causes of unusual processing, learn from them, and improve processes.
• Collaborate with finance department to address issues related to goods / invoice reconciliation.
• Analyze and leverage purchase order data for improvements.
• Act as a liaison between accounting, finance, EY, sourcing managers, and suppliers.
• Communicate effectively, both written and oral - dealing with suppliers is obligatory.
• Prepare operational reports and analyses.
• Attend weekly meetings with the accounting team, audit aged exceptions and improve staff training.
• Achieve regional SLA goals.
• Adhere to operational procedures and maintain monthly order audits.
• Manage email receipt and resolve any urgent matters within 48 hours.
• Drive process standardization / automation projects ensuring on-time delivery.
• Participate in process improvement / automation projects as needed.

Skills and attributes for success

• Proficiency in both English and German languages
• Fluency in other language, such as French or Spanish, would serve as a valuable skill
• Bachelor’s degree required. Any procurement and supply chain related certificated are added advantage
• Good level of knowledge and understanding of the S2P Process is desired
• Knowledge of SAP SRM, ECC, VIM and Ariba Network is preferred
• Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mind set”
• Good interpersonal skills – able to handle conflict situations and resolve issues satisfactorily
• Ability to organize own work and work independently
• Excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive, can-do attitude and good business acumen
• +5 years of working experience
