Role and Responsibilities

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Professional III, Network System Technical Support or related occupation in the troubleshooting experience in supporting 4G/5G RAN and o-RAN network deployment and commercial network. Of the 8 years of experience at least 4 years must have included: (1) Validating, deploying and supporting 5G, vRAN, and O-RAN on public cloud technologies, including AWS and VMWare, in a multi-vendor environment; (2) Experience with 3GPP systems, architecture and protocols;(3)Experience with 5G RF optimization and parameter tuning for new product launch and ongoing KPI improvements task force; (4) Creating vRAN network topology, network deployments work flows, field test plans, and engineering and integration methods of procedures; and (5) Creating, validating lab and field test cases for 5G vRAN and O-RAN deployment scenario, and executing performance and functions test cases.

: 20% domestic travel required.
