About the Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will focus on bringing on the best restaurants in our most strategic markets that fit our partnership criteria, and they’ll leverage their skills in cold calling, emailing, and driving internal processes to create sales opportunities, plan field visits, and to set up our restaurant partnerships for success. You will also help with projects involving new and innovative tools and systems being launched internally - as well as take on a leading role within the sales team, assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, tool implementation and any other necessary sales projects.

What You’ll Do:
  • Leverage prospecting skills and relationships to build partnerships with the Netherland's top-tier restaurants across strategically selected markets.
  • Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our restaurant partners, including sustainable economics for both parties.
  • You will manage the whole sales cycle, including cold calls, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and the first month on the platform.
  • Clearly communicate the value of Uber and its newest products to prospects.
  • Coordinate restaurant activation by working with our onboarding team to ensure a smooth restaurant experience.
  • Keep in touch with your recently signed restaurants to ensure a great start on the platform.
  • Be responsible for the full restaurant partner performance in the first 28-day merchant lifetime
  • Help coach, develop and train sales reps in order to maximise productivity across the group.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  • At least 1 year of external sales experience
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • You are comfortable at managing your own time and have clear prioritisation skills
  • Working knowledge of how to use Google applications (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets) and familiarity with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems
  • Degree level education
