The Retail Infrastructure Services team within Amazon Worldwide Grocery Store Tech is seeking an experienced Systems Development Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our secure cloud-based accounts and infrastructure, while ensuring a high level of security compliance and operational excellence. You will be working with our partner teams including TPS\TPRM, Legal, and Security. This role requires hands-on engineering to drive our cloud security initiatives and architecture needs as well as tracking any security issues to completion.Soft Skills:

- 4+ years of contributing to automation for new and current system experience
- Experience coding, scripting, automating in at least one language (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell)
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Knowledge of hardware platforms
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with TCP/ICP networking fundamentals and application of IP protocols such as: DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, and SNMP
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
