Job Description
  • Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) Team is a global organization that manages the installation and maintenance of Automated Material Handling robots across Intel's High Volume Manufacturing factories.
  • The team works in partnership with Test and Development (TD) Automation organization on the cost, installation, operational sustaining, and continuous improvement of AMHS Intel Corporation's state of the art facilities gives you the opportunity to learn a variety of technical and operational skills to develop, operate, maintain, and repair the world's most advanced facility equipment, in a demanding and challenging operations environment.

As an AMHS Software and Hardware Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the installation and maintenance of Automated Material Handling robots across Intel's High Volume Manufacturing factories.
  • Enables the team to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, driving equipment performance and team results.
  • Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Assesses risk, identify issues, and provide solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
Qualifications
  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field with 4+ years of industry experience. -or- Master's degree In Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field with 2+ years of industry experience.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out: Experience in Factory automation systems and Program Management.
