Essential Responsibilities

  • Implements the strategy for govt. sales, across portfolio of Imaging, and other relevant GE Portfolio etc. in select key accounts of government.

  • Demonstrate the ability to generate business opportunities that leverage GEHC in the market place

  • Originating sales by positioning GE technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution. Promote the business value proposition of GE technology.

  • Ability to Communicates difficult concepts and to influence others' / customer options on particular topics/ solutions/ technologies. Influence/guide others to consider a different/alternate point of view.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Masters Degree ( preferable) 8+ years of successful sales/marketing related leadership experience in a large company or / public procurement agency

  • Willingness and ability to travel intensively across the Indian subcontinent and South Asia

  • Strong analytical ability, propensity to create project reports, prepare, analyze and refine various equipment and technology solutions. Experience of contract management of govt. procurements (preferred) Strongly compliance driven

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong business acumen, financial and sales process knowledge.

  • Keen ability to learn new concepts, technology and agility to adapt to changing industry dynamics .

  • Technical knowledge of the Healthcare industry/ equipment technology/ sales process (preferable not compulsory).

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with mid to senior level management team.

  • Ability to engage with and deliver GE value proposition to senior level contacts within account and/or prospect organizations.

  • Adaptable and flexible to work environment including, but not limited to, handling multiple tasks concurrently, and easily adapting to new assignments, system, tools -- produce clear, concise, accurate written communication, clearly conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and customers.
