Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support EY business lines to draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and related documents, including requests for proposals, confidentiality agreements, statements of work, access letters and other commercial arrangements and manage and/or develop alternative contractual positions for negotiation.
- Analyze issues, problem solve and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
- Provide administrative and technical support on special projects, particularly related to commercial contracting, templating and innovating to maximize efficiencies.
- You will be required to provide appropriate and effective solutions and to consistently provide high-quality risk-appropriate advice to professionals.
- Support EY GCO lawyers and business lines to develop and execute on contract management.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as administrative and time management skills
- Self-driven, detail oriented and hard-working
- Previous experience negotiating contractual agreements directly with clients and contract management experience and/or risk management experience would be an asset, but not required.
- Knowledge of the French language an asset but not required.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of corporate law clerk experience.
- An undergraduate university degree and/or a college Law Clerk diploma with excellent academic credentials.
- Strong organizational skills, decisiveness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong MS Office skills.
