As an Operations Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will have the crucial role of overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our facility in Tucson, Arizona. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes run smoothly, meeting production targets, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Tucson, Arizona location. In this role, you will impact the success of our operations by leading a team, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve production targets
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives in working with end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, production planning, and inventory management
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
WE VALUE
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)
• Background in test operations or electrical or mechanical experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles / RCCA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
