In this role you will plan the project, deploy the hardware, configuration and fiber connectivity for new data center builds across the EMEA region. As the Lead, you will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project planning and execution in association with our Technical Program Managers.One of the best parts of the role is travel within geographical work area is required, up to 70% travel outside traditional work area may be required possibly including international travel.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - 3+ years' experience in TCP/IP, networking concepts, and troubleshooting network devices, cabling, and connectivity issues.
- 3+ years' experienced knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, as well as experience with cabling infrastructure best practices.
- Ability to manage work and priorities through ticketing and workflow systems, with requirement to travel up to 70% within and outside geographical work area.

- Degree in relevant field or 3+ years high-level/enterprise experience as technician/engineer, with certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA.
- Familiarity with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details in a dynamic work environment.
- Understanding of command line protocols, networking protocols, and experience in large-scale data center network implementations.
