As an Analyst in The Bank Controller, Accounting Policy and Reporting (BCAPR), you will be responsible for a variety of functions. This includes the legal entity controllership for several of the firm's major legal entities (the Lead Bank, Parent Company and Intermediary Holding Company), advisory to business and governance of regulated firmwide Interentity policies, establishing global accounting and disclosure policies, and the submission of the firm's consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements to the SEC on Forms 10-Q and 10-K. You will be part of a larger Legal Entity Controllers function, where you will be responsible for performing 'Head Office Accounting' activities. This includes preparing and processing SAP entries for cash settlements, processing of wire transactions and dividend payments. Additionally, you will monitor daily cash movements, perform trend analysis and prepare various schedules supporting the broader LEC regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply accounting understanding to the financial reporting
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports produced during month-end
  • Maintain and ensure data integrity of reports prepared, related user tools, and underlying data
  • Consolidating and validating Regulatory reports
  • Reconciling of data from the firm’s ledger and other sub ledger systems
  • Analyzing and reporting monthly on SAPCO Expense allocations and summary reporting
  • Participate and handle new migrations and incremental activities
  • Learn new efficiency tools and value add to the operating model

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • At least 1 year of accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Strong accounting understanding
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Strong Interpersonal and command over English language, ability to articulate needs and interface with peers, cross LOB teams and management
  • Proficiency with MS Office Tools and knowledge of ERP Tools such as SAP
  • Control/documentation and agile background/mindset
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to overall team goals

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Open to working in EMEA shift (1:30 PM to 10:30 PM) and should be able to deliver to tight deadlines. Occasional stretch of 1-2 hrs. during quarter ends.
  • Additional - business intelligent tools like - Alteryx, Tableau, Python and UI Path would be beneficial
