Duties: Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and third-party ETL tool including Abinitio. Work closely with client and users to understand requirements and provide solutions. Provide technical design and develop functional requirements document based on client requirements. Execute all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from analysis to design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Create test cases and test reports, and work with QA team to validate the data and scenarios. Participate in extracting data from different data sources like text file, Oracle, XML, spreadsheets etc. Create reports for downstream system. Help QA team and support team by explaining the developed code and solve prod issues and UAT issues by fixing bugs. Work with vendors to hire the right resources. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related IT occupation developing applications. Six (6) years of experience must include: Oracle databases design, development and implementation using tables, indexes, functions, procedures, triggers, and packages as well as query optimization and support to ensure solutions are stable, reliable and performant using Oracle Version 12c or later; Utilizing SQL performance tuning techniques including query plan analysis and management, SQL tracing, DB Stats, indexing techniques and using AWR reports; Oracle locking and transaction mechanisms in multi-session environments; Utilizing full Software Development Lifecycle to design, develop, and test high-quality software in the banking domain; Working with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies; Utilizing Project Management Tools including Jira, PTS, and SNOW; and Utilizing the following languages: SQL, Unix, and Linux. The employer will accept three (3) years of university-level studies plus two (2) years of related IT experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. 40 hrs./wk.
