Purpose & Objectives:

The Software Partner Solutions Director plays a key leadership role across SAP North America and Market Unit by with Third Party Software Partners. The role’s key responsibilities are drive revenue through Partner Orchestration by effective leveraging Experiences and Operationalization of the NA Store Partners.Additionally, will take on the responsibility of a Partner Leader for 2-3 Software Store Partners

Expectations and Tasks:

  1. Integrate
    1. Work with Store Partners to align to their SAP Strategy on the Store
    2. Establish stage gates to allow for progression through the SAP partner types, if desired.
    3. Integrate Partner & SAP across Sales, Alliances, Marketing and Solution
    4. Partner Orchestration to one single strategy to ensure accountability and success.
    5. Partner presence into SAP office
    6. In person presentations to Partners Sales and Alliance Teams
    7. Attend Partner sponsored events that bring incremental pipeline with the highest conversion rate
  2. Influence
    1. Knowledgeable of all 3PS activity (Sales, Alliances & Demand)
    2. Identify E2E Solutions to drive incrementality across organizations / across sales segments
    3. Oversight of 3PS Marketing and Event items for Store Partners
  3. Execute
    1. Drive deal execution (CQ) & expansion (Q+1,Q+2)
    2. Responsible for NA Store annual 3PS revenue
    3. Ensure accountability, effectiveness and execution in alignment to the Partner Edge stated guidelines
  4. Relationships
    1. Establish Relationship Plan across Store Partners (External / Internal)
    2. Scorecards w/ MU Leadership
    3. Create and foster a positive and team environment
    4. Communicate to develop Clear, Insightful, Approachable and Optimistic Experiences

Work Experience

  • SAP NA field experience
  • 7+ yrs experience in the software industry in a sales or related role
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic partnerships

Education & Qualifications/Skills & Competencies

  • MS Office Products: Strong analytical competencies and a capacity to communicate and influence
  • Good and positive energy – brings innovative ideas to the team and champions best practices
  • Social Strategy
  • Ability to identify, develop, champion and execute strategic initiatives with highly complex partners
  • A proven capability to work in a team and collaborate across matrixed reporting lines
  • Expertise and acumen in forging initiatives and GTM sales pipeline/opportunity development plans
  • Ability to effectively lead change initiatives, collaborate for mutual success and thrive in ambiguity.
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent
  • Proven software industry business development skills
  • Expectations to be in office 2-3 days per week with partners.
  • 40 miles from SAP Office preferred locations: NSQ, Chicago, New York
