Key job responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic leadership to the Kuiper Cryptography and PKI engineering organization to deploy robust certificate and key management, crypto libraries, HSM infrastructure and PKI solutions at global scale
- Set the vision and roadmap for Kuiper Cryptography and PKI engineering
- Develop secure-by-default crypto services and libraries that accelerate and lower the cost of adoption of secure cryptography solutions across KuiperDiverse Experiences

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or relevant work experience
- 12+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of cryptography and PKI experience.
- 10+ years managing and building teams (including coaching and mentoring)
- Strong and proven ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and stakeholders
- Experience managing a team of strong security engineers to identify strategic and tactical risk.

- 10+ years of experience in defining and scaling crypto services, PKI and HSM infrastructure at global scale
- Significant experience in driving the development of resilient cryptographic systems to ensure continuous availability during system failures
- Experience establishing and reporting metrics and KPI to the executive leadership team to measure the effectiveness of services operated by Kuiper Cryptography and PKI engineering
- Experience partnering and influencing cross functional engineering, and testing teams to drive security improvements in complex environments
- Experience with building high performing teams to deliver highly scalable services
