Your responsibilities will include:
- Leads the end-to-end management of HEMA initiatives, from idea conceptualization to planning, execution, and dissemination.
- Works to understand the problem that needs to be addressed and the intended end user to develop a solution that meets the customers’ needs and desired outcome.
- Engages cross-functional internal teams(including HEMA, medical affairs, clinical, and marketing) and key external stakeholders as appropriate to develop and implement solutions.
- Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand the scope of effort.
- Prepares and maintains project plans, scope of work, schedules, and budgets ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Uses project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to optimize workflows and deliverables.
- Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
- Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies.
- Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.
- Actively and effectively communicates with the project team and resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
- Consults with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge and assisting or mentoring more junior project leaders in project management processes and techniques.
- Develops and delivers HEMA-related training to internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness and understanding of HEMA competencies and role in supporting market adoption of products and therapies.
- Participates in external project management organizations, conferences and seminars to stay current with industry best practices.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including experience in project management.
- Experience in partnering with a variety of functional partners and ability to influence action to develop and execute projects and solutions.
- Strong communication skills and experience developing interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
- Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently and to work in a fast-paced matrix environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a commercial role such as marketing, sales, or HEMA.
- Experience working with new medical technologies in medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology.
- Understanding of global and US healthcare markets and stakeholders.
- Formal training in marketing, business, communications, health economics, public health, health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related discipline.
