The position will entail the following:
Work with process, hardware, integration, and metrology team to design and develop new quantum computing devices.
Design and conduct experiments, collect and analysis characterization data.
Explore new growth area leveraging Applied’s expertise in precision material engineering.
Requirements
Student must be pursuing a Masters or Ph.d degree program in Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Knowledge and research experience in solid-state qubits technology
Experience in semiconductor processing and quantum device modeling preferred
$42 - $54 per hour
