As an Investor Relations Associate within the Client Strategy team, you will contribute significantly to the Real Estate Americas investments marketing effort working primarily with internal clients (investment specialists, portfolio managers, research, investment teams and client advisors) and ultimately with external clients over time. You will work closely with investment specialists to service our existing clients, develop marketing strategy, marketing collateral, fund reporting, fund positioning, and develop and maintain competitive analysis on the industry landscape. Additionally, you will contribute to various strategic projects across the platform, for example, new fund launches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Real Estate Americas Investment Specialist team effort in servicing existing clients and acquiring new business.
  • Prepare and execute client materials, including presentations and reporting deliverables.
  • Contribute to and manage strategic projects from inception to completion, including idea generation, content creation, project management, stakeholder coordination, and client feedback management.
  • Complete RFPs, RFIs, due diligence questionnaires, and quarterly/monthly client/consultant questionnaires, as well as handle ad hoc requests.
  • Project manage client deliverables, ensuring timely execution, identifying overlaps, and driving coordination and efficiency.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Real Estate Americas organization, its business priorities, culture, and operating model.
  • Build knowledge of real estate as an asset class, portfolio allocation, and the macro environment, and understand key metrics to inform client responses.
  • Enhance the client experience by creating external touchpoints such as white papers, webcasts, and electronic newsletters/updates.
  • Create and update analytical models to support client needs.
  • Monitor industry databases and publications for relevant environment, competitive and marketing information.
  • Frequent internal and external client contact.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3-5 years industry experience.
  • A self-starter with the confidence, patience, maturity and a strategic lens to proactively advance agenda, navigate demanding internal/external product/client situations.
  • Ability and desire to add value and contribute to the team’s efforts; present new ideas and initiatives.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a diverse and complicated workload under demanding time pressure. Timeliness and multitasking are critical.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and marketing/sales skills, required for both internal and external client deliverables.
  • Ability to create compelling, thoughtful and creative presentation materials.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential with strong analytical acumen.
  • Strong technical skills, including a proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Team player with a strong ethos of partnership and inclusion.
  • Good understanding of the investment management industry and a willingness to learn and develop further. An interest and ‘passion’ for real estate investment.
  • Series 7 and 63 certifications.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Real estate experience is beneficial, but not directly required.
