As a System Analyst in the IT organization, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of data analytics solutions. In this role you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors.

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data systems

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Filter and clean data by reviewing complex datasets, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.

  • Provide ongoing development and maintenance of an operational data store and enterprise data warehouse using BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques.

  • Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.

  • Provide interactive real-time dashboards and key performance indicators using Tableau, , or newly identified BI tools.

  • Under general direction, responsible for converting business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified analyses, reporting and visualizations.

  • Gathers BI requirements, design solutions and works with developers on their delivery.

  • Experience with data integration, data transformation, data warehousing, and ETL concepts and technologies

  • Communicates with project lead and internal teams and direct conversation to overcome obstacles and resolve any problems.

  • Actively manages project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for several projects concurrently.

  • Creates and reviews functional and/or system specifications that meet business user requirements, often for multiple large scale projects.

  • Participates in project review sessions to communicate project status and discuss complex issues.

  • Manages designated work unit by translating business plans into tactical action items, ensuring all guidelines are followed, delegating tasks to meet goals and objectives, and overseeing the completion of work assignments.

  • Prioritizes issues and consults with subject matter experts to resolve complex production-related bugs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience leading informal teams.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Working independently with little supervision.

  • Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.

  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc.

  • Having a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions).

  • Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.

  • Exercising substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives

Pay range:

$42.31 - $63.47
