What you'll be doing:

  • Lead all aspects of CPU (and related) IP project execution from concept through productization.

  • Work closely with Architecture, RTL design, Verification, and VLSI leaders to develop project goals and deliver to committed targets on schedule.

  • Provide technical leadership and facilitate cross-domain technical issue resolution to keep projects on schedule, at spec, and ensure high-quality first silicon.

  • Develop project schedules, key objectives, and metrics to track project execution and to identify risks. Work with engineering and management teams to identify creative solutions to mitigate project risks.

  • Communicate effectively with leadership as well as engineering teams to ensure alignment and streamlined execution towards project goals.

  • Foster brand new innovation on projects while ensuring efficient execution and on-schedule delivery.

  • Lead optimally in a highly matrixed and global engineering environment.

What we need to see:

  • Solid technical project management skills and experience in delivering high-performance chip designs from conception to production. CPU leadership experience in brand new processes is helpful.

  • Deep knowledge of the entire chip life cycle and direct experience across technical domains. Experience in CPU core, Interconnect Fabric, and/or IP integration flows is a plus.

  • Excellent tracking, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to present progress of complex efforts across many teams using key performance indicators and identify risk areas and mitigation strategies.

  • Demonstrated history of enabling teams, fostering innovation and streamlining processes, and delivering brand new technology products.

  • Ability to drive resolution of sophisticated technical issues across highly matrixed global engineering teams.

  • A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • 15+ overall years of experience in processor or other related high-performance semiconductor designs.

  • 8+ years of chip management and technical leadership experience.
