As aat JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities will focus on enabling the speed of delivery to market of exciting new products using Agile frameworks and Lean practices. You will take on the responsibility of ensuring the timely roll out of technology oriented customer-focused initiatives, involving cutting-edge Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP etc. tech-stack, leading the overall coordination and removing impediments, whether it’s engaging with another team, getting a decision from a stakeholder or ensuring the team remained focused on the product vision.

Job responsibilities:

  • Accountable for initiative level planning and alignment, data based forecasting, reporting, and identifying and resolving program level risks, dependencies, impediments and blockers.
  • Responsible for end-to-end program delivery quality, managing the flow of work across several delivery squads
  • Solid dependency management expertise, enabling the alignment of multiple streams to progress towards key delivery timelines
  • Enable continuous improvement and high quality outcomes through the application of Agile frameworks and Lean practices, as well as analysing and improving the squads by acting on metrics
  • Support the Product and Engineering leads in the successful program delivery, while collaborating within a team of Program Managers across Product lines.
  • Communicate to a wide range of stakeholders and client teams, aligning them to the delivery strategy and ensuring shared understanding of reporting and desired outcomes
  • Influence Squads to adopt Lean/Agile practices and improve ways of working with pragmatism
  • Become a trusted advisor to the technical and product leads collaborating with them to deliver business and user value

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in program management of digital products to customers using Lean/Agile methodologies, including with Kanban
  • Led and supported multidisciplinary teams that have included designers, testers, developers and product managers
  • Bring a history of championing Lean/Agile ways of working, adapting to delivery frameworks and recommending improvements without being dogmatic
  • Managed and worked within budgets and time-pressured environments
  • Used delivery data to forecast key deliverables and communicate a project’s status clearly with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Proactively spotted risks to delivery and helped teams mitigate them
  • Great facilitation, diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Experience of the Atlassian toolset Jira and Confluence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Previous experience in retail banking
  • Program management of technology initiatives with emphasis in areas like data science and data engineering
  • Some technology background would be a plus
