The Lead Software Engineer plays a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the NICE inContact software platform. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, and drive innovation across multiple tiers of technology. Senior Engineers are responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting a dynamic, agile team environment

How will you make an impact?

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex software systems and features.
• Evaluate and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
• Quickly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues in production and development environments.
• Understand and apply security best practices in coding and deployment
• Drive innovation by researching, recommending, and integrating new technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, and architects to define deliverables.
• Drive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and automation improvements.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience, with a track record of delivering complex software projects.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, Angular, JavaScript, SQL, and related technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns, unit testing, and agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of scalable architectures, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, such as leading technical projects and working with Architects.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines a plus
