Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility of Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer will include but not limited to:
Identify development/ improvement area in selected sub-model (e.g. atomizer/ spray, chemistry, turbulence, heat transfer , Ignition/ LBO etc.) used in current analysis method.
Conduct literature survey, propose improve improvement.
Implement improvements in sub-model and validate. Integrate to existing analysis method.
YOU MUST HAVE
PhD in Turbulent Combustion/Turbulence/ Atomization and Spray or ME/MTech in Aerospace/Mechanical/Chemical engineering with more than 5 years of experience in the relevant domain.
Knowledge of aero-thermo-chemical processes in gas turbine combustor.
Strong background in CFD, good understanding of mesh requirement for high fidelity combustion CFD analysis.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in programming in Fortran/C/C++.

Experience modeling Turbulence/ Combustion/ Emission/ Spray.
Experience in design of gas turbine combustor
Knowledge in Turbomachinery
Experience in commercial software: CAD, meshing tools and CFD solver
Ability to work independently and willingness to learn new technologies
