As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer at Outbrain, you will be at the forefront of securing our SaaS Cloud Infrastructure. Your role is to research, design, and implement cutting-edge security solutions that align with our policies & security standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and trends in infrastructure management to recommend and implement improvements (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect infrastructure and data.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Infrastructure/Platform Engineering and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and improve processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes

What you’ll bring:

• 3 + years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - a must !
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls.
• Experience investigating and responding to both external and insider threats.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong proactive and “can do” approach.
• A team player and a strong people person.
