Description
In this role, you will work with multi-functional teams to understand specifications, develop hardware models with timing annotations for various components of the cellular modem, validate the models in standalone test environments, deliver and support integration into larger simulation platforms and support the HW design verification team using your models.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in code programming languages such as C or C++.
  • Experience architecting system level features.
  • Experience leading feature delivery for a complete firmware/software life cycle.
  • Strong test planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working with simulators and embedded programming.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Python for automation or verification.
  • Knowledge of HW modeling using C++ or System-C.
  • Familiarity with toolchains such as GNU and LLVM.
  • Experience with development of emulation systems or virtual platforms.
  • Understanding of 4G/5G cellular physical layer operation (3GPP) is beneficial.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
