The Home QE team is seeking a highly motivated Software QE Engineer who is passionate about quality. You will be working on protocol, API, and end-to-end testing of the software stack. You will develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to drive quality and ensure great user experiences for the latest Home features.
Responsibilities include: - Developing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate Home features across iOS/tvOS/MacOS/WatchOS- Hands on testing & debugging issues to help isolate and root cause problems- Driving end-to-end product reliability based on insights driven by field data analysis- Design tests and develop automated test solutions - Collaboration cross functionally with development and QE teams across different sites and timezones
- Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in a QA lead role developing test cases/strategies for consumer facing products or services
- Experience in technologies used in the Home automation eg. Thread, Wifi, Matter
- Proficient with automating test cases in Python or Swift
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including collaborating with external partners
- Real passion for product quality and attention to detail
