JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lead Semiconductor Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our semiconductor manufacturing operations. Leveraging your expertise in semiconductor fabrication and technical leadership skills, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, contributing to their professional growth and ensuring a high level of expertise within the department.

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Plymouth, Minnesota location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our semiconductor manufacturing processes, driving innovation and ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.

The annual pay for this role is $72,800 to $109,100.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and verify quality
  • Recommend improvements
  • Conform to specifications
  • Record observations
  • Collaborate with others
  • Generate reports
  • Troubleshoot quality issues
  • Develop and maintain standard work
  • Inspect and pack parts for shipping to internal and external Honeywell customers
  • Support HOS initiatives and processes
  • Coordinate source inspections, as required

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations and clearance requirements, candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and lead teams.
  • Basic experience with WorkStream, TeamCenter, and SAP
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of site’s products and requirements
  • Knowledge and ability to create, modify and maintain Excel, and Word documents
  • Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance
