What a typical day looks like:
- Assist Engineering Team with dryer validation plan, silo validation, spare parts, and preventive maintenance and calibration
- Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team
- Learn new processes and evaluate results
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:
- Junior/Senior student pursuing Plastics Engineering orMechanical/IndustrialEngineering major
- Understanding/experiencewith an Injection Molding Process
- CAD tools (Solidworks, AutoCAD) experience
- Lean/Six Sigma helpful
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Ability to start on June 2nd and work 10-12 week Summer assignment (in-person); 40 hours/week
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 GPA
Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $15.93 USD - $21.90 USD Hourly
