Key job responsibilities
As a Robotics Hardware Engineer, you will design, build, and test innovative systems and module designs such as robotic end of arm tools for our robot FC solutions. The ideal candidate has experience designing and analyzing mechanical systems, enjoys analytical problem solving and possesses practical knowledge of building pioneering systems.A Robotics Hardware Engineer's remit includes:
- The design, build, test, and documentation of new robotic mechanisms.- Writing requirements and functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
- Working with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations as well as vendors to ensure a smooth production transition of design changes.A day in the life

- 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
- BS in Mechanical Engineering. Other related degrees may be considered as well (mechatronics, robotics, systems, physics, etc.)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD experience and understanding of best practices for part design, and advanced assemblies
