Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, C, C++, Rust and Go or equivalent experience.
  • 3 + Years experience working in a pulic cloud enviornment, devliering complex applications deployments, and conducting cloud native application development in a complex matrix enivornment.
  • 2+ years experience wokring with arrtiifical Intellengece to enchance stakeholder outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • A good working knowledge of agile software development methodologies and tools that enable these, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or others
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year.

Understand User Requirements

  • Collaborates with stakeholders on user requirements and feedback for features. Applies various feedback channels to improve designs or solutions. Measures customer value, usage patterns, and other metrics of value.

Design

  • Contributes to product/solution architecture and testing design with technical leadership
  • Working hands-on with your team and our customers through design and implementation, demonstrating good engineering practices and coding along the way

Coding

  • Writes and debugs code for a product feature following coding standards and best practices.

Implement

  • Executes project plans and tests features, learns about deployment and considers customer impact.
  • Sharing your work and learnings with your team, Microsoft product teams, and the OSS community
