Job Description:
As a Technical Product Manager on the Personalization Machine Learning team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technical strategy and roadmap. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to create transformative personalized experiences for PayPal and Venmo users, harnessing the power of AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the vision and strategy for ML-driven experiences for two major domains : Performance Marketing as well as Branded/Unbranded Checkout experiences.
- Some examples in Marketing area include Audience selection strategies, Trigger Based Marketing and Journey Optimization, Retention models.
- Some examples in Checkout experiences include smart funding instrument, dynamic messaging, smart routing and adaptive authentication for BrainTree..
- Influence and collaborate with highly technical teams, such as platform and infrastructure, to execute the ML vision.
- Manage the roadmap, agile processes, release plans, experimentation, team communications, and executive roadshows.
- Evangelize the adoption of capabilities and manage last-mile delivery with stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Navigate complex technical dependencies and partner with multiple engineering organizations to ensure data and system pipeline needs are met.
- This is a technical PM role within the AI/ML team, closely aligned with engineering development.
What you need to bring
- 3+ years of experience in Technical Product Management in an agile environment
- Background in Payment Backends a plus
- Backgournd in Marketing a plus
- Background in engineering or analytics highly desirable.
- Experience with MLOps, Infrastructure and AI/ML pipelines.
- Technical and business acumen in data initiatives.
- Experience inspiring and mobilizing all levels of the organization with your product vision, data-centric thinking, and customer/developer passion.
- Being comfortable in navigating ambiguity and establishing an iterative roadmap and experimentation culture.
- Experience in areas like e-commerce or consumer apps - a plus
- Advanced Degree in Engineering or Science Disciplines.
