PSI Functional Advanced Analyst Consultant

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design effective Finance and Tax solutions with an emphasis on improving processes, compliance, efficiency and better decision making - this includes drafting user requirements, process mappings, Data flows diagrams, functional and technical design documents, among other documents depending on the deployment methodologies.
  • Implement these solutions by collaborating in the configuration, development, unit testing, preparing test scripts and project management activities.
  • Identify and develop solutions for complex business challenges on the intersection of finance, IT and tax
  • Support our team of Tax Technology experts in implementation of solutions in SAP, Microsoft, and other technologies.
  • Involvement in the development of innovative services and preparation of turnkey solutions for clients
  • Manage clients and teams located in multiple locations.

Qualification & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Accounting / Tax and/or software engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA or equivalent experience.
  • A combination of education and experience to bridge the gap between finance and IT is a preferred.
  • An overall 1-3+ years’ experience in Technology Project Implementation.
  • Functional experience with process design and documentation (preferably in the finance function e.g. planning, consolidation, tax), gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Knowledge of Finance/Accounting and/or tax domains such as TP, tax accounting, tax provisioning, CBCR, Pillar 2, costing etc. and/or
  • Technical knowledge / understanding / experience in one or more of the following technologies is preferred:
    • SAP
    • SAP BTP technologies such as SAP Build, CAP
    • SAP PaPM / SAP BW / SAP HANA / SAP BPC / SAP Analytics Cloud
    • SAP FI/CO understanding
    • SAP Datasphere
    • Integrations with SAP and other technology
    • Microsoft
    • Gen AI
  • Good Powerpoint skills and can develop client presentations
  • Strong excel knowledge and hands-on experience is a must.
  • Having a consultant mindset; problem-solver, professional, reliable, curious, analytic in addition to have good communication and interpersonal skills and being able to work under pressure
  • Strong team-focus and a positive attitude
  • Fluency in English and an additional EU language
