Data Ops Capability Analytics Deployment - Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new solutions/frameworks/techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for Enterprise Data function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the data, analytics and AI strategy for enterprise data.
• Drive the implementation of advanced analytics and AI solutions to optimize the operational efficiency and improve decision making.
• Oversee the governance of data assets to ensure data quality, security and compliance for data assets
• Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Hands on with data analysis, data modeling, data catalog and data lineage implementations.
• Implement Data Quality solutions, data validations rules and monitoring to ensure data accuracy.
• Sound understanding of data architecture and data integration for enterprise use cases.
• Ability to bring principles to standardize data governance for various data platforms.
• Ensure scalability and performance for reporting and analytical solutions.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture Team on the definition and refinement of overall data strategy
• Proactively identify and address data related challenges, including performance bottlenecks, batch orchestrations, Reports and Dashboards.
• Ability to perform complex data analytics (data cleansing, transformation, joins, aggregation etc.) on large complex datasets.
• Build analytics dashboards & data science capabilities for Enterprise Data platforms.
• Communicate complicated findings and propose solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
• Understanding business and functional requirements provided by business analysts and convert into technical design documents.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams e.g. Business Analysis, Product Assurance, Platforms and Infrastructure, Business Office, Control and Production Support. Prepare handover documents and manage SIT, UAT and Implementation.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how the development function integrates within overall business/technology to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the banking industry.
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Serves as data and process interpreter, transforming raw data and dis jointed process into visually intuitive representations. Through meticulous analysis and adept visualization techniques, present complex datasets, and connection in accessible formats, enabling stakeholders to discern trends and patterns effectively.
• Collaboration & Communication: Engages with stakeholders across business areas, soliciting feedback and requirements to tailor data solutions to organizational needs. Through clear and concise communication, facilitate understanding and alignment among team members, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to data-driven decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

• 13+ years of active development background and experience in Financial Services or Finance IT is a required.
• Experience with Data Quality/Data Tracing/Data Lineage/Metadata Management Tools
• Thorough understanding of Data Catalog tools like Collibra.
• Working knowledge on Data Lineage and Data Tracing features and functionalities.
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries (Pandas, Numpy)
• Analytical mindset to draw inferences from large and complex datasets.
• Strong knowledge in one or more of the BI visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
• Should be able to write complex SQL/Stored Procs
• Groom junior team members and perform code review for them.
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate data governance insights to stake holders.
• Experience with distributed computing platforms would be an advantage.
• Ability to look at bigger picture, self-driven and motivated team player with effective communication and presentation skills.
• You can tell a story using data and process maps and have creative streak.
• You know how to read/write to database systems (Oracle / Hadoop). Know SQL / NoSQL, with knowledge of various file formats.
• You are adaptable, creative, resourceful, well organized team player with a strong work ethics
• You have above average knowledge of Finance / Credit / Market / Ops Risk in wholesale banking
• Strong understanding of Data Science, ML and can run EAD analysis using statistical packages
• You agree that verbal and written communication skills are vital

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree in information systems, Business Analysis / Computer Science.
