The Lead Field Service Technician is responsible for providing technical field service support, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of Honeywell products. They are required to identify and resolve technical problems and carry out installations and commissioning. The Lead Field Service Technician must be a self-starter and possess strong communication, organization and problem solving skills.
The Lead Field Service Technician will be required to diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot technical problems, repair failed components, and to calibrate equipment as necessary for functionality and accuracy. The technician may also assist other employees in troubleshooting and repairs. The technician must be able to identify deficiencies in workmanship and suggest improvements. The technician must ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and promptly resolving problems.
In addition to the technical skills, it is imperative that the Lead Field Service Technician have excellent customer service and communication skills as they are often the first contact the customer has with customer service. They also must be able to deal calmly and professionally under pressure. The Lead Field Service Technician will be the point person on-site and must be able to manage a team of technicians.
