The Manufacturing IT support Engineer is the point of contact for IT services and support of our Production Facility. The key role of MIT includes diagnosing, analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving of IT problems instantly. This relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.

In this role, you will…

  • Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure, on-site and remote.
  • Monitors and tests application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
  • Installs, maintains and repairs computer systems and peripherals following standard operating procedures
  • Show an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving. Resolves most support issues following established policies and procedures
  • Track IT assets using inventory management tools.
  • Escalate complex issues, clearly communicating the troubleshooting steps taken and the business impact
  • Know company and department policies and procedures.
  • Automates tasks with scripts
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and peers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Deliver project tasks on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Works on tasks and projects of moderate to medium level of complexity.
  • Makes decisions within the framework of procedures and policies.
  • Provides a report on the work done in accordance with internal procedures and on time.
  • If finds errors or problems then immediately reports them.
  • Interacts with colleagues from other departments within the project.
  • Is a subject matter expert their function. Can make a recommendation as part of the job function knowledge.
  • Managing the vendor relationships, vendor driven projects and outsourcing activities.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience working with IT systems support
  • Troubleshooting skills (hardware/software) and WIN10/11 workstation and peripheral knowledge.
  • Experienced with Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, networking, VPN troubleshooting
  • Fluent English and Polish (spoken, written, reading)
  • Exceptional communication skills: ability to explain technical issues in a non-technical fashion
  • Solid understanding of iOS/Android (email service, security, apps)
  • macOS knowledge is a plus
  • ITIL, MS and other certification are «+»
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS
  • Working Hours – (12h shifts, night shifts at Mon-Fri + Day and night shifts at weekend.)
  • Must be willing to work overtime (within local laws and regulations) to prepare all needed systems to run the operation.
