Sr. Export Compliance Officer will report directly to the Director of Export Compliance and be a trusted partner to our Export Controls program, with specific emphasis to ensure Honeywell has a best-in-class program for compliance with the U.S. Arms Export Control Act and International Traffic in Arms Regulations, addressing licensing, system controls, policies and procedures, training, transactions, and audits. This role will have particular emphasis in managing our Department of Commerce export authorizations post approval recordkeeping requirements and supporting health checks and audits. Key responsibilities:
· Manage Honeywell’s Department of Commerce (DOC) post approval recordkeeping requirements across all Business Groups
· Support export authorization post approval requirements such as on-boarding of authorization owners, training and validation of actions
· Conduct health checks of export authorizations to validate compliance and engage with stakeholders to ensure processes and procedures are being followed
· Support deployment of Technology Control Plans
· Managing OCR-EASE recordkeeping requirements for complex export authorizations
· Conduct peer review of DOC export applications
· Manage the Export Compliance Authorization Management SharePoint site · Engage with other members of Export Compliance organization and businesses to ensure export compliance requirements are adopted
· Develop, review, update, and implement comprehensive export compliance procedures, forms, guidebooks, agreement control plans and training in support of consent agreement corrective actions
