What You’ll Do:
Prepare cash flow valuations for new signings, extensions, and acquisitions (IRR/NPV).
Facilitate interdepartmental communication and track progress related to ongoing deal negotiations.
Maintain and update internal department records related to deal analyses (as required).
Oversee preparation and delivery of ongoing reports delivered to other internal deal stakeholders within the organization
Collect and analyze data from copyright and royalty system, as well as industry resources such as Luminate MusicConnect and Mediabase.
Participate in developing and reviewing analytical tools.
Prepare or assist with special projects as needed.
Who You Are:
3 or more years of music industry related experience or similar experience in business development or financial modeling
Must have advanced Excel skills with working knowledge of pivot tables and data analysis. Must also have general computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
Strong research, analytical and math skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work on multiple tasks, think spontaneously and meet deadlines
Experience with music publishing legal, finance, and/or administration preferred
BS/BA degree with a major in Music Business, Finance, or related field preferred
Some Travel Required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours for evening and late-night events

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $60,000-$65,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
