Here's what you'll need
- BA/BS Business Information Technology, BA/BS Computer Science, BA/BS Computer Engineering, similar degree, or equivalent years relevant experience
- Ability to create technical, instructional or overview documentation for equipment, circuit layouts, and networks
- Experience in IP network design, test, and implementation
- Experience with Network Security appliances, such as; Cisco ASA firewall & Cisco Firepower Threat Defense
- Experience with routing platforms from Cisco and Juniper and routing protocols including BGP, MPLS and Segment Routing
- Experience with network monitoring/troubleshooting/packet capture, such as Solarwinds suite and Wireshark
- Must be willing to work on-site in Northern Virginia
- Active TS/SCI with Poly is required
Preferred:
- Experience working with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls
- Current DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (Security+) or higher certification or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of starting role
