Kei a koe te mana I The choice is yours

Recent projects include:

  • The 2023 and 2024 natural gas supply and demand studies,
  • Helping to develop new generation and energy storage projects. We undertake market due diligence and market modelling, including forecasting electricity prices, generation curtailment and auxiliary market outcomes, to support the development, financing, acquisition, sale and valuation of grid-scale batteries, pumped hydro, solar farms and wind farms, and
  • Informing the development of government and regulatory policy in the New Zealand electricity market.

We have an opening at the Senior Manager level in our Wellington office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team that delivers work for our New Zealand clients. This will involve

  • The execution and delivery of audit support work and energy market modelling projects for existing clients.
  • Bringing new work into the business through proposal writing and other business development processes.
  • Supporting the development of less experienced staff members.
  • Contributing to the broader EY business, in particular supporting the growth and development of the Strategy and Transactions service line in New Zealand, Australia, and our Pacific neighbours.
