As the Analytics & Reporting Team leader, you will have the opportunity to transform incumbent SCS reporting across SCS helping to build, transform and manage a critical sector and drive world class, consolidated, valued, proactive Analytics & Reporting. You will have the opportunity to ensure that mandatory, meaningful, consistent and insightful reports are produced and distributed to effectively manage all SCS categories, whilst maximizing delivery to our stakeholders driving toward a true value add group.

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business advisor to all SCS stakeholders, both internal and external aligning requirements with the business pipeline and providing exceptional customer service while delivering true value

  • Manage a team of Analytics & Reporting experts to ensure cross category collaboration, consistency and best practices whilst providing guidance, support, and mentorship

  • Develop an overarching Analytics & Reporting strategy which supports the overall SCS framework

  • Support improvement in processes, policy, systems, management information and reporting across SCS

  • Develop relationships with key EY business stakeholders and report category insights and progress via regular meetings where appropriate

  • Have a solid knowledge of key anaytical / reporting suppliers and their position in the market, in addition to working through current market intelligence resources and partners to perform the latest research to drive continual improvement and ensure world class delivery

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong business acumen and commercial skills to drive the Analytics and Reporting function along with strategy across a broad array of all Supply Chain Services portfolios

  • Strong negotiator and influencer capable of driving alignment with key senior stakeholders and leaders

  • Extensive knowledge of the Analytical and Reporting landscape and key suppliers, with deep understanding of relevant offerings to drive forward automated insights and actions

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders

  • The ability to analyze complex data sets to extract insights, trends, and patterns that can guide strategic decision-making

  • The ability to drive change by building strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders and business partners

  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for change that delivers maximum benefit

  • Demonstrable people management skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience of managing and leading a diverse, knowledgeable team that are experts in there given fields

  • Strong understanding of data collection, data processing, and data management principles. The ability to interpret charts, reports, and visualizations is also a fundamental skill on a large scale

  • Proven experience in leading a team and the ability to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to reporting analysts

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, business-oriented language for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex data challenges and improve reporting processes.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Business Degree [or relevant preferred degree for role] [or relevant demonstrable working experience applicable to the role]

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including experience with analytical and reporting activities within a global organization/s

  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills in business English

  • Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization

  • Experience working collaboratively, virtually and independently

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $123,600 to $238,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $148,400 to $270,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
