The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:• In-depth Linux and Windows (must have) server-based platform knowledge for deployment, integration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of application infrastructure.
• Must have working knowledge of networking and firewall technologies.
• Support production systems, as required, through performance optimization, problem resolution, vulnerability and platform compliance, and timely issue communications within the cyber security.
• Must be comfortable speaking to internal customers and to clearly articulate technologies to other engineers.
• Maintain, utilize, and modify applications’ operational runbooks and perform semi-annual business continuity failover activities for critical applications within the cyber organization.
• Occasional after hours support for product incidences, production implementations and escalations.Nice to have:• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc) and containerization.
• Programming/Scripting experience with .NET, PowerShell, vbscript.
• Experience with Diagnostic Software: WireShark, Windows Command-line, UNIX/Linux Command-line, Process Explorer and other Security systems and applications vendors including Open Source.

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Certifications are often desired.
