- Define and build silicon/assembly/package qualification requirement and responsible for product qualification and technology certification.
- This is based on physical understanding, model prediction and quality & reliability of advanced product, transistor, interconnect, assembly/package and wafer/package tests.
- Drive product qualification and reliability (Q&R) validation, ongoing quality and reliability monitoring and build cost effective test/mfg screen solution to ensure stable process technology and product meets the committed Q&R specs and performance.
- Q&R engineering of volume manufacturing which covers yield monitoring, DOE, analysis, risk assessment and disposition of any reliability read out issues
- RMA execution involved failure analysis on ATE test program, developing focus ATE test to reproduce the failure, dispositioning of RMA, RMA reporting, follow-up, corrective action plan and implementation.
- Engage in in-field telemetry usage to identify product test quality improvement and/or power/performance optimization.
- Part of a larger team that correlates test solution to lab/OSAT/customer platform to validate silicon design, process, package, and manufacturability to product specifications,
- Knowledge of platform, package, and silicon power management and thermal is a plus and the ability to connect the dots will help in addressing any product quality issues.
