Assurance Advisor, Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) - Non-Financial Reporting Assurance/Advisory (NFRA) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1607501), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Denver, CO.

Advise clients by communicating nonfinancial performance, and responding to the development of corporate, nonfinancial, and integrated reporting frameworks. Help clients to identify stakeholder expectations, as well as assist in providing trust and confidence to the market on performance and in creating long-term value. Responsibilities may include developing nonfinancial disclosures, integrated annual reports and other communications. Responsible for establishing corporate governance risk disclosures, collecting and collating nonfinancial data to support management reporting, reporting to the board, and external disclosures and developing internal and external reporting strategies, including identifying KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Responsible for leading fieldwork, managing performance, and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work related experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 4 years of related experience.Must have 4 years of auditing experience in a public accounting firm registered with PCAOB.Must have 2 years of experience with environmental, social, economic, and governance (ESG) disclosure standards, frameworks and questionnaires such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, CDP, UNPRI, or other sustainability reporting frameworks.Must have 2 years of experience assisting businesses in understanding key climate change and sustainability issues, regulatory developments, and market best practices.Must have 2 years of experience collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategies and solutions of high business value.Must have 2 years of experience with evaluating complex ESG project risks and issues.Must have certification/accreditation or sufficient coursework/experience requirements to obtain certification/accreditation within one year of hire in one of the following: APICS CSCP (American Production and Inventory Control Society - Certified Supply Chain Professional); CA (Chartered Accountant) Canada; CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) Canada; CAP (Certified Analytics Professional); Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP); Certified Climate Change Professional (CC-P); Certified Energy Manager (CEM); Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); The CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing (CFA ESG); Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified Industrial Hygienist / Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist (CIH / CAIH); Certified Information Systems Auditor Certificate (CISA); Certified Management Accountant (CMA); Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA); Certified Professional Geologist (CPG); Certified Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB); Global Association of Risk Professionals Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate (GARP); Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification (issued by CARB) (GHG Verifier); Global Reporting Initiative Professional Certification (GRI); International Society of Sustainability Professionals – Certified Sustainability Professional (ISSP – CSP); Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP); International Society of Sustainability Professionals - Sustainability Associate (ISSP – SA); Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA); Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED); Professional Engineer (PE); Project Management Professional (PMP); or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Fundamentals of Sustainability Account Credential (SASB).
