What you'll do
- Leads high quality design and artifacts to define and drive improvements to product and engineering quality; lead projects across all lifecycle stages from ideation, design, project planning to execution.
- Write maintainable and extensible code with high quality tests and documentation
- Productionize solutions across the fleet by enabling observability for close monitoring and evolving the solution based on production experience.
- Drive collaboration across multiple teams for successful delivery of goals.
- Mentor junior engineers in the team to grow in leadership abilities
- Represent the team in internal and external forums
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience programming in multiple languages such as Go, Java, Python, C/C++
- 3+ years of experience in low-level systems, distributed systems, or similar technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in large-scale backend infrastructure
- Working experience in cluster management solutions such as Kubernetes or Mesos
- Understanding of container technologies such as docker or containerd
- Knowledge of operating systems and Linux kernel
