High level role:

• Provide technical support to users of the Outage Management System encountering system and interface challenges.
• Support users of the Distribution Management System with DMS capability activation, data uploads, and system issue resolution.
• Communicate issues and change requests to Oracle and monitor the resolution/ update process.
• Facilitate the installation and testing of new software updates and patches.

Key Responsibilities:
Oracle NMS Management

• Manage the Oracle NMS environment utilized as outage management system and Distribution management system for BAU activities (Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle NMS users).
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and optimize interfaces between OMS and GIS, SAP, and other relevant enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with other IT & OT teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems.

Linux (Oracle Solaris as well) Environment Expertise

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Linux to manage and support Oracle NMS.
• Perform system administration tasks including scripting, configuration, and performance tuning in a Linux environment.
• Database Management
• Administer and maintain databases associated with Oracle NMS.

Experience required:

• At least 5 years of experience working with Oracle NMS (configuration and support).
• Extensive experience in Linux and Solaris environments.
• Expertise in database management, including Oracle and other relevant databases.
• Prior experience with OMS, GIS, and SAP integration is highly desirable.

Skills required:

• Strong understanding of Oracle NMS architecture and functionality.
• Proficient in Linux and Solaris system administration.
• Excellent knowledge of database management and optimization.
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot interfaces between different enterprise systems.
