JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers. You will provide professional coverage of Technical Support Helpdesk with a specific focus on SQL and Linux based systems and software. You will support focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction. You will drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues. You will build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases. You will develop broad understanding of customer needs. You will support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools. You will help develop Technical Support processes. You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication. You will address systemic coordination issues.

Key Responsibilities

· Be part of a team that is solving complex technical problems for external customers

· Troubleshoot issues related to proprietary software, Linux, SQL server,

· Basic knowledge of server and controllers

· Document details pertaining to issues being worked on

Key Responsibilities

· Provide Technical Support via phone calls and emails from external customers

· Database query, Server configuration and troubleshooting, File handling, Memory and process management, Shell scripting

· Document phone call and issue details

· Monitor software applications and hardware (Pick to light and put to light)

· Perform Root Cause Analysis

· Document troubleshooting steps for knowledgebase

· Train others on use of proprietary software

· Query databases

· Optimize database performance

· Debug software source code

· Modify software source code to fix defect

YOU MUST HAVE

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science

· Hands on experience of Linux command line and vi editor

· SQL
