Jacobs and JASARA are playing a key role on one of the giga programs in Saudi Arabia – an iconic entertainment destination situated around 45km from Riyadh. Based in Riyadh, KSA we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risks and Issues Manager. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this major project by effectively managing and overseeing the risks and issues. Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement a Risk Management Plan, Risk Register and Associated governance processes in alignment with the client and program risk management procedures
- Develop presentations and dashboards summarizing the status of the project and program risks
- Involved in risk meetings and workshops with the project team and stakeholders to identify new risks, update the consequences, risk action plan along with risk owner.
- Collaborate with project teams to create mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Monitor risk exposure throughout the project lifecycle and adjust strategies as needed.
- Establish an effective issues management process.
- Proactively identify and track project issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with stakeholders to address issues and prevent their escalation.
- Document lessons learned and share best practices across the organization.
- Experience designing and implementing Risk Management plans across major projects
- Familiar with working in a complex project environment
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
