The Role:

  • Understand the problem the product is supposed to solve, the specific use cases for each type of user, and the underlying motivations as well as their pain points.
  • Regularly sync design and contribution-level efforts with stakeholders and Principal Design Lead for transparency and alignment with big-picture initiatives.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Principal Design Lead to “define done” for projects, outline project needs / scope and negotiate timing to align with delivery team needs and pipeline backlog.
  • Maintain high quality standards and alignment with our design system, principles, and contribute to best practices.
  • Work comfortably and confidently in a self-organized team set-up.
  • Collaborate with designers to provide support and feedback on team and cross group topics.
  • Participate in design critique sessions with other designers to further master the craft of design.

Role Requiremnets:

  • Thorough knowledge of user experience methodologies and artifacts (e.g. wireframes, personas, flows) as well as interaction design patterns and techniques.
  • Proficient in visual design and delivering ready-to-production design artifacts.
  • Proficient analytical skills, structured and data-driven working approach and good interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working within agile software development teams and proven goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to write user stories and a good understanding of iterative & incremental value-driven story writing is a plus.
  • Steady stakeholder management skills, including an ability in negotiating and managing expectations on timelines and scope.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely when illustrating topics to an audience.
  • Experience in taking responsibility and making decisions.
  • Ability to deal with complex topics and stakeholder landscapes.
  • Experience in data visualisation would be advantageous.
