Key job responsibilitiesAs a Software Development Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work closely with the customers, hardware, ODM, and QA teams to take the product from concept to customer release and ensure the highest level of quality for your deliverables. Have in-depth expertise working with the camera, video for consumer devices. In this role, you will:
* Analyze technical requirements, investigate feasible technical solutions, and complete technical design.
* Participate or initiate design and code reviews, technical discussion, software development and documentation.
* Take audio software development and deliver high quality code timely, maintain SW stability and performance.
* Deep dive and solve difficult issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, 5+ years relevant work experience in embedded Software.
- Professional experience in embedded software development and familiarity with ARM CPUs
- Experience working with audio software, embedded image and video processing
- Strong technical communication skills with peers and partners.

- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Imaging science or related field
- Experience architecting embedded multimedia consumption features and integrating multimedia functionality into consumer electronics devices
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience in working with multimedia tech on either Android or Gstreamer
- Experience working with Audio or equivalent
- Experience in Linux Yocto will be a plus.
