This is a highly strategic role that requires working across complex environments, inspiring others, and making effective business decisions. This role involves supporting engagements with international financing institutions in Washington DC as well as education customers, particularly those in the Latin America & Caribbean region.
In this role, you will:
- Typically requires a minimum of 12+ years in roles related to public sector technology sales, policy and system change, education technology research, senior education leadership in education technology or governmental affairs related to education technology.
- Deep knowledge and experience of public sector procurement, preferably in large education accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of educational technology procurement strategies, particularly in ALAC, along with experience in global markets, procurement process and RFPs.
- Experience in business development or sales, preferably in a large tech company.
- Strong knowledge of the K-12 or higher education market, preferably across multiple countries, with an understanding of the Latin America & Caribbean region.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships, with a track record of establishing solid connections with regional clients and working cross-functionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
- Innovative mind set and ability to think “out of the box” and challenge the status-quo
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization across multiple timezones.
- Proven track record in landing sales opportunities by engaging with government leaders in multiple markets globally through direct customer connection and engagement strategies.
