What you need to know about the role:
As a Technical Product Manager in the Credit Risk team, you will be responsible to build innovative and scalable solutions for Credit Risk platform to enable growth, revenue and effectively mitigate risk losses.


Your way to impact

  • Understand business needs, end to end customer experiences when building platform solutions
  • Partner with cross functional teams and collaborate with them to do right thing for the customers
  • Good understanding of the problem space to define the same in sufficient details so that engineering / architecture teams can propose the best options that can scale beyond the current problem
  • Be aware of the Credit business and their strategy to be able to build to scale
  • Build the strategy and roadmap, define product requirements with the goal of each new release
  • making a measurable impact

Your day-to-day

  • Responsible for owning a product roadmap leading from discovery to delivery
  • Define product requirements and lead successful execution of initiatives
  • Work closely with Business strategy partners to determine trends and identify opportunities
  • Engage closely with engineering and architecture in Agile methodology to help determine the best technicalimplementation/designwhile balancing time-to-market needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams at PayPal and external partners to design, build, launch new product capabilities
  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making
  • Have a strong grasp of data and deriving insights out of it
  • Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics to support and make product decisions
  • Partner with Customer Support teams in solving pain points for our users.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.
  • Define a product launch plan for your area, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling roadmap of projects or iterations.

What you need to bring

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field, MBA or MS preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience dealing with technical problem solutions as a product manager.
  • Strong in Analytical skills - Proficient in query languages such as SQL, Python
  • Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial, ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated, goal driven, Can-do approach, curious and open minded
