1st shift (United States of America)• The Small Business Direct Advisor works alongside a pre-defined team to deliver relationship managed advice and expertise in a pooled model approach.
3. Perform application and fulfillment process directly on some solutions.
4. Make referrals to product and fulfillment experts, as required.
5. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills: clear, concise, and friendly conversationalist.
6. Discern and identify potential opportunities through value-added Small Business life cycle conversations with clients and prospects.
7. Manage/solve complex issues for clients, by maintaining a strong understanding of resources within Truist. Leverage branch, care center and other partners to deliver an exceptional client experience.
10. Demonstrate business acumen, industry knowledge, and organizational skills through pre-call planning, advising, and follow-up.
11. Maintain understanding of Truist capabilities and solutions and general industry/market trends.
12. Meets individual performance goals of revenue/profit growth matrix, client experience and operational / risk expectations while participating as an integral member, contributing to the overall team’s performance.
13. Adapt to technology enhancements swiftly and advise clients on new digital solutions.
14. Escalate concerns promptly to their leader for awareness while complying with all operational, risk, and credit requirements.
15. Participate in client events, both virtually and in-person to include but not limited to, financial education, business lifecycle advisory and client celebration.

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent financial services education, training, and work-related experience
2. 5+ years sales / client management relationship with Small Business or Business Banking clients
3. General knowledge of business banking products, lending, cash cycle, sales process, and remaining current on market/industry/business knowledge
4. Relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients, management, and partners Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and virtual connectivity software.
